But he’s a dog.
Until today, I couldn’t dream of staying anywhere else than in a one- or two-star hotel or a hostel while I travel. In December, I’ll crash at a place for maybe 17 euros or so (when I’m not in Enschede with the family). It’s nothing fancy. Just six bunks to a room, communals baths and breakfast. Right up my alley.
That is, until today. Until I found out that my sister will be boarding our family’s dog in a “Regency Chateau” near Roanoke, Virginia. In our dog’s own private room, he’ll enjoy:
“magnificent custom bedding, oriental rugs, toy chests filled with all types of stimulating toys, mood music and special selections from our extensive pet video library played on their own private in-room television … as well as playtime in the Zen Garden and Butterfly Garden adjacent to the dog park.”
Check out that picture. I couldn’t make up a room that nice (after all, I’ve never seen one!).
Unbelievable. I want an upgrade.
