The Masters

I write about faith. It’s kind of the thing that brought me all the way to Augusta, Ga.
The thing is, living here, no one is exempt from writing about golf. People in this lovely city might as well capitalize Golf like they capitalize God.
The Masters has given me the opportunity to write about the ways golf and faith intersect (they do). A few stories I wanted to share …
What’s really going on inside a golfer’s head? I tracked down Christian pro golfers to ask them. Lots prayed on the course or used scripture as mantra. Read more here.
I also had the chance to ask legendary broadcaster Pat Summerall about his faith and battle with alcoholism. Read one of those stories here.
