I checked back in with the family of Tater, a 15-year-old who was fast outgrowing the weelchair-equipped van his family uses to transport him around town. We last wrote about Tater and the Maphis family around Christmas.
With dad Roger off for his third deployment to the Middle East, the Maphis family set a deadline to raise some $25,000. It’s amazing how people here locally, and really, around the country, responded.
